If you like John Le Carré, you will love Slow Horses. Share your cerebral spy fiction recommendations.
John Lacarere is the gold standard for spy novels. Tinker Taylor Soldierspy is not just a great spy novel, it is from the best novels ever written, period. His whole quest for Carla trilogy with Tinker Taylor Soldierspie, honorable Schoolboy and Smiley's People created a world of amazing characters and deep plot lines. And the chess match between Smiley and his Soviet counter to pardkala is played out with incredible subtlety and pulse pounding tradecraft

I think she's one of the best actors out there. So the combination of her with that kind of gritty oldman character, I just love the show. I love the hero, the underdog heroes. I didn't know there was a season two. I'm so excited and I wish I knew this week, but I guess it just dropped. But I will definitely watch it

But Rubicon definitely hits a thriller and sort of set in this world of spies and spy craft. And since you're talking about Slow Horses, which is based, you know, British spy drama, there's a great series a few years ago, The Man Who Became Bond

Deborah, I've got some good news for you. There's not only a season two, but there's a season three. And they've commissioned a season four, according to one report. So I can't confirm it. I'm not an insider, but it does look like as if Slow Horses has been a huge success. And I'm not a bit surprised. I've just reached the end of season one
