What kind of reader are you?

article image placeholderUploaded by @Anwesa
But generally I tend to finish up a book in one day and I'm not the type of who intermittently reads small part of it and then keeps it for the next day whenever I read and if I get the interest, I actually read it at one go. So please share with me. How do you like to read your books

@MitsuhaMiyamizu
I don't necessarily feel that way, but last year when I went on a binge of reading psychological thriller, I read at a speed of one book every two days. I wrote a list every weekend, so I knew one book I should download once I finished with one. These days I'm cool with one book a week. As it turned out, I do need keep

And I will dedicate my whole day to reading that book, to ensuring that I reach the conclusion of that book. On the other hand, if there's a books which is okay for me, which is not bad as well, but not interesting as well, I'm a very regular reader. I'll maybe read ten to 15 pages today and then touch that book only a week later. So I've been trying hard

Hi Well, I don't have any such specific taste in reading but there are different genres which I enjoy and a lot which I don't like and that is the reason I read them a bit slowly as compared to others but for saying so I really like fix new readings

Basically, I what kind of reader are you actually reads the entire book in a day if I love the story or if I like the writing or if I am well connected with the book. In the other case, like if I feel the book is not up to the Mark or I'm not getting connected with the writer's point of view and all, it takes even ten to 14 days for me to complete that book

@MitsuhaMiyamizu if you find time please give And then there were none by Agatha Christie.

I finished in one day. So let's see how much time you take. And since my offline classes have started, so I'm finding it a bit of a hard time to cope up with this routine habitually reading a book. But still, I promised myself that I would read at least at least one page a day so that the habit doesn't die away. And thank you for replying

At least I'll touch the book and not just leave it as it's and then come back to it a week later. Not like that, but at least every day. Every day I just at least read one page. So I worked that way. I don't know if it might help you. And thank you for replying

I also like fictional books and I specifically prefer fantasy, although some might think me to be childish or full of imagination, but I still try to enjoy I actually enjoy fantasy books because explore the imaginative world of people. The diverse imaginative world of people gives me immense pleasure. And thank you for replying

Yeah, I totally agree with you. If we can't get connected to the books or the characters with the book and what is happening to their lives, how can we read them faster? Or rather the what to say the hunger in us to know about what would happen next that does doesn't grow that much fast. So we tend to take a longer period of time to read books which are not actually interesting to us

Hey, Visa, thank you so much for suggesting the trick. I'll definitely try that because one page a day is not necessarily that big a thing. It might just get over in like five minutes, but at the same time, it would ensure some sort of continuity and you would not lose the flow of the books. So, yeah, I will definitely try that. Secondly, I completely endorse your recommendation of and then There Were None. It's such an amazing book

Hey, so I'm a reader who loves to read any romantic proposal or mysterious one or haunted one. So I'm a patient kind of person. I talk about reading. I take many days. I read it in towels. There are many people who just finished their book in one or two days. I'm not that kind of person. It really happens if it is a poetry book, because I love to read poetry

Hi Priyajyoti, thank you for replying and I generally describe myself to be a fast reader. I finish books in one or two days, or rather when I start with the book, I actually tend to finish it before going on to my other jobs. But recently I found that in terms of when I'm reading self help books, I'm not actually not that fast that is finishing it within one or two days

Well, I believe I'm more of a collector than a reader. It's really wrong to say this, but I collect a lot of books and read only a small portion of them, but I do try to cover it sooner or later. Like all my books, like the category of the genre, which I like to read most, is definitely thriller or suspense. It just keeps me hanging for the next day

And after the book fair I had bought a lot of books, but Unfortunately I haven't even started one book. So I'm also now a bit of a collector. But I know that when I start reading, I'll actually read a lot of books at one time. And also if I have too many new books, which I have not read, I feel under pressure. That okay. I have to read a lot of books

But on the other hand, I have had some of my College Labour's books which I was not even able to read completely because I thought that, oh my God, it's so boring. I don't want to read it. I'll just watch a summary of this particular book and stuff like that. So yeah, it depends
