Blood L/I/N/E/S

article image placeholderUploaded by @Nisahs_Audio
Gaslighting and manipulation is the tactics we use to fight our modernized war. But it took my eyes to see the horns on their head where the hail used to be. Take form and saw who I was truly living with. Once I knew, I felt my blood. Their blood ethnically through constrictive veins. I stood disconnected from my vessel, wishing I could get rid of it

Wow. That is powerful. And I had to listen to it twice, which I love to do when I have the time, and I did. And it's really powerful. And it's just so such inner strength of this voice that you create in this poem. Great, great Khan, you thank you so much

Good morning, Nisah. Khalid. I have listened to your latest offering, oh, four or five times. I was first taken with the courage it took, obviously, but it was a powerful courage. What is so fascinating about the listen and your writing was that it pours into the listener. You come away with a fulfillment. Your word imagery was supremely impeccably chosen, I think. I mean, I was there as you pondered very heavy emotions

Hey, Deborah. Thank you so much. I really enjoyed your response because it's really rare, but I've had people describe my words as strong. Usually people say I have, like, a soft style, so, I mean, that was something I was trying to achieve. So thank you. Really kind of showed what kind of direction or what kind of techniques work and what, though

Like, yeah, I should keep doing stuff like this because the reason why I've always tended to be tentative about posting things is I've had former friends or always ask if I'm okay or if I need help after I post kind of, like, controversial topics. So hearing this from you really validates my feelings and really makes me feel better about what I'm posting
