Healing Baby Boomers Tough Persona… the challenges of todays Time

article image placeholderUploaded by @Ana_Laine
Our voice being silent, tired of not defending ourselves out of respect and out of fear. So that's kind of what you have as a generation that's worked up, wound up and have seen it all to some degree. So with that being said, the healing conversation is one for that generation, for sure. The baby boomers, they have a huge influence in the healing that needs to be done because they perpetuated it as far as the trauma or they didn't deal with their trauma

And so she's telling me all these trends that are going on now and I'm like, Why are you guys doing that? And then she'll explain it to me and then I'll say, oh, okay, I understand. So I think just with healing and moving forward, it's just important to have that empathy and willingness to understand where somebody else is coming from, for sure

I love this conversation about different generations and our experience of learning how different we are and also finding the grace to understand lived experiences can absolutely change people's ideas about time, about mobility, about faith, about just cultural what we think is norms and someone else thinks is not norms. It's it's, you know, diversity. Conversations need to include age all the time

It's important to see people within the context of who they are and their entirety of experience as best as we're able to, just as we want to be seen for the entirety of who we are, as best as we're able to share that. Right. So what's interesting, I've noticed I learned a lot from hearing people talk about the generation their parents are from too, because that has a lot to do with how they were raised. Right?
