I found something that I thought was lost forever

article image placeholderUploaded by @Ambassador
Since my children were grown and in relationships and having children of their own, it made me feel as if though I wasn't worth anything or good anymore for anyone, my self esteem got lower and my desire to be a part of life in the world was kind of blurred because my life had evolved around doing things for Shay and Dale, my two children. She's the oldest, she's 38, and he's the baby. He's 30 now. But they've been my life

Oh, my God, I got such a big smile on my face right now. Listening to your story, listening to your. Your energy and your relationship to yourself. And it's infectious. You know, a lot of people have this image of emptiness as, like, this sad space where there's an indent and there's nothing there. And I feel like you've just reframed this whole thing. And what a gift you gave the world to bring in these two beautiful people

And I went through the same thing, and it's like, gosh, I know my daughter loves me, but she don't need me no more. And I know I'm annoying the hell out of her every time I. It got to where I couldn't even say, how are you doing? Without her going, why do you need to know everything? I know that you relate to that

I'm just a wet noodle now because I miss my parents and what you said, bless my soul and I just wanted you to know that as long as what I do, somebody's informed, inspired, and motivated to speak or just share that they were touched. That's the goal. God bless you. Thank you again

I could relate and feel your story just as much as I see you could relate and intertwine and get with me and mine. So thank you so much. God bless you. I'm so new to swell, but this has been such a joy for me. Like I had mentioned, I don't know, I didn't tell four stories on here. And I love being honest and keeping it real and telling it like it is, trying to do it in a classy and ladylike manner

So I'm just grateful for you. I'm also going to tag another swell cast that I run called where the light gets in. And I just started a couple of weeks ago, and it's all about mental wellness. Every week we do a different topic. So I'd like to invite you to follow and be a part of that. And thank you for being a part of this whole community. Me

And it's hard to see each other when there's such a difference in age and the vast difference of being a parent and being a child, because it's a whole different experience as we know when we were kids with our parents, if we reflect back, I remember graduating, honestly didn't hear much from my parents. I think they were glad I was gone
