I think you've inspired me. I've never been really very good at poetry, let alone trying to understand someone else's poetry or song lyrics. And haiku has always held a fascination for me because, I mean, what five syllables? Seven syllables? Five syllables? It seems pretty straightforward, right? I can, I can manage that. It's not going to be necessarily pretty, but hey, then I can say I wrote a quote unquote poem. I am entertained by hikers

I think you did a fabulous job. So this is somewhere in the 6.5, give or take a point here and there around 6.5 or six ish. I'm sure your subsequent poems will get even worse. So we will get to maybe next time try for a seven and see if you can better that. If there's anybody else listening to this, why don't we try something even more intense? Here's a work haiku, my inbox is full another day of emails time to waste my life

Why think before we speak? Why not just create poetry? Just let it come out. Let it eek. You will not judge me. You will accept me for who I am. On this sunny day, the globe is spinning. We are winning because we are in conversation. And that makes me feel good. Roses are red, violets are blue. Peanut butter
