'Stop Body shaming- all bodies are beautiful' .

article image placeholderUploaded by @aasthasharma
Instead, we can spend time appreciating ourselves with thoughts like I'm brave, I am so smart, I am strong. And we should not forget that we all are unique and beautiful. And the first step we should take is accepting and loving ourselves. Else let's love our bodies despite of its size. Remember, no one can measure your worth and capabilities on their idea of beauty. So stop having shame for your own beautiful bodies and start celebrating the way it is. Thank you

One positive change, I believe, was changing the name of Fair and Lovely to Glow and Lovely because, oh, God, that was one major area of my hate during all of my childhood, because how can you show a girl, dark skinned, failing in life? And when she puts on that Fair and Lovely, she just goes on top of the world. That is just very wrong, in my opinion

Hi Austa. Thank you so much for bringing this topic up. I feel like this is so important and not addressed enough in the junior high, elementary school, high school, college. I find that so many of my peers, especially my female peers, have tendency to body shame even when they are attempting to offer a compliment. Sometimes it will turn into body shaming and then comparing bodies
