Juice Jacking

article image placeholderUploaded by @yatharth3
Hello, everyone. This is my first voice note, so please bear with me. Today I'll be talking about juice, Jacking. So what exactly is juice? Checking. So, have you ever seen these free charging points in public places? These charging points are the hub for this cyber attack. So what happens exactly is that these cables could have a chip inside them, or even the whole USB port could have a chip inside it

Hi. So, first of all, this sounds like an absolute nightmare, honestly. And wow, I didn't know that there's such a thing like juice jacking. I had heard, and I don't know, like, can you fact check this once? Whether such data theft can happen over WiFi as well? Like, if you use some public WiFi and maybe they track your phone and steal your data or something like that, because that's something I had heard

Yes, you are absolutely right about the WiFi thing. Because let's say I was hosting, I could see whatever you are doing on your phone while you're connected to my hotspot. Okay? So that's why it is is recommended to not connect to public WiFi. And I would say you should even consider the Internet service provider you are using for your home WiFi because they can 100% see everything you're doing. So you should only use trusted services. Thank you
