Be your own best friend

article image placeholderUploaded by @WorkingGuy
Be empathetic towards other people, be empathetic towards yourself. Understand there's only so much you could do. Sometimes I have to tell, I have to tell my wife sometimes on sometimes it seems like a daily basis telling her, hey, you realize I'm only one person, right? I know. Everybody thinks I'm superhuman dad, super human, husband and son, brother and coworker. Tell people. You should also have to tell people, hey, I'm only one person

Positive self talk is essential to not only your own mental health and well-being, but those around you as well

So, yeah, being your own best friend is essential in these days, because sometimes it's just you, yourself and I, right. It is. In your car, in your house, you're constantly thinking about things and you have to protect that piece. Right. You do. You got to protect what you see and what you hear, because it doesn't sometimes align with your own your own thoughts. So, yeah, being your own best friend is absolutely essential

I'm going to take this Tylenol. Your dad is definitely going to play that with you. Or if you can do some self play and give me 30 minutes, I'll get back to you. It teaches your child so much, and I love it, because now my son is 13, and we have that together. His dad and I are no longer married. We coparent

Another thing that you mentioned was you had the disclaimer. Anything I'm saying what I'm doing is always for good intent. I have no ill intent behind what I do. And I feel like in my mind, I'm thinking I shouldn't have to explain that because naturally my actions and things that I do for people to show that I have no ill intent. And I take it a step further
