I came across an article that she had written for The Medium about work life integration and was so fascinated that I invited her to come and participate in the Thought Leadership series. And I'm really grateful to her for having taken the time out to have a conversation around work life, passion and so on with us here on Swell. Welcome Gayatri. In an article that you wrote, you spoke about how there can only be work life integration and not work life balance
Thank you Sreeja, for that introduction and inviting me here. Before I respond to your question, I think it's important to share that when I speak about work life integration, it is in the context of the industry I work in, which is software and it and why I think it's important because the industry and the geography impact the impact the narrative of work life integration a lot. Back to your question why I prefer using the term work life integration instead of work life balance

Wow, that's such a refreshing perspective. Thank you so much. And I can't agree more. I think it's high time we learned to integrate work right into life. My second question is again from one of the articles that you have written, and it is about how, or rather why there is a lot more to pursuing one's passion than made out to be.
