That's what you keep during the grieving. The grief enables us to recognize all the bad that happened as we sort through the good. And when you get to your daughter being that angel on your shoulder, you're going to smile more times than not. And I still cry sometimes when I think about my mother. She died with both legs amputated and her suffering was so great. But now all that has passed for me. It's been what, 2012? A long time ago
