So I did some digging, and I found the poem that I said was inspired by shadow of the day by Lincoln park off of the minutes to midnight album. And again, for context, I wrote this during a very cold, frigid, snowy winter. Everybody I knew around me was leaving, including my boyfriend at the time. And I don't know. This is the poem that came to me at that time
