I do not care because I know our history outweighs the honeymoon. I've seen more sunsets in her eyes. To know that I was never looking in the wrong direction. I wish I could lengthen the wick for some chance to prolong the night. Some nights are never meant to fall asleep as in nights like this. And so I ask myself what if these butterflies open their eyes?

There's so much going on here. I feel like I need to listen to it again to track all these all these images and their arcs. It's a packed poem. I really like the idea of lengthening the wick. That's a really lovely image
