should Menstrual leaves be allowed?
Like the introduction of mandatory paid maternity leave may lead to a bias in hiring due to financial cost to employers. And also this bias hearing may lead to decline in labor force participation of women, and it could really become unfair to these women. We actually need menstrual leave, but we don't need it as illness. We are not ill. It's normal. But this new normal is being made ill for us
So if women are allowed to work from home during this time, at least for, say, one day in a month or whenever they feel fit, they can actually increase their productivity and work better in better suited environments for them. But then there are jobs that require women to be present, for example, teaching. Teaching requires us to be present in the classroom
