Prostitution- a stigmatised bad profession in Society

They are sexually harassed and still no complaint is registered against the person who committed the sexual harassment. Why? Because these are prostitutes. They cannot be raped. They cannot be harassed. The society fails to draw a distinction between consensual sexual intercourse and forced sexual intercourse. Sexual harassment with prostitutes is a very common case. And these prostitutes even if they try to raise their voice and file complaints, their mouths are shut down. Because as per society, these prostitutes cannot be raped

Sex Workers not prostitutes.

And so from being the land of Kamasutra where people being expressive and expressing the artistry behind physical intimacy, to it going behind the mainstream consciousness to relegating into the dark recesses of the mind and in many instances and cases, even being termed as bad is a function of multiple generations which have been conditioned by the past, that be, by the wise people of the times, as it were
