A third of Americans say they get less than the recommended amount of sleep. That according to the CDC adults are advised to try and get seven or more hours per night, as inefficient and insufficient sleep is linked to various chronic diseases and conditions such as type two diabetes, heart disease and depression, with the suggestion do it for each other.
