What books did Hemingway read?
He often doled out advice to other writers intent on doing the same, guiding them to the works of James Joyce and T. S. Eliot. Quote, read anything I write for the pleasure of reading it. Whatever else you find will be measured by what you brought to the reading. End quote. At the same time, he seemed to shy away from instructing people to take writing tips from books, imploring them to just sit with the emotional experience they created
It's somewhere in Florida, but it's effectively a Ernest Hemingway lookalike contest. But the folks also kind of try to act like him in a lot of ways. And when I was listening to you, it made me think of this. So I'm sharing the video here. Totally bizarre. I think you'll get a kick out of it

And that actually stood me well in my years as a reporter. And the other thing is that, keeping with his uniqueness, he used to raise six toed cats at his Finkavina in Cuba, which is kind of a weird thing, but I guess it's in keeping with the personality. So, anyways, thank you for your comments. I do appreciate them very much. And thank you for the video. Bye
