Seeing Ghosts during sleep

article image placeholderUploaded by @Urbanlegends
According to research, about 20% of people who experience sleep paralysis, which occurs during rapid eye movement or REM sleep, this is the same period of sleep when most nightmares happen. Dr. Mosley says quote While we are in REM sleep, our limbs become temporarily paralyzed to prevents us thrashing around and hurting ourselves or others. You continue to breathe and your eyes flicker from side to side, but you can't move

But I got to go in here and do this work. So it's like getting some acceptance with death, getting some acceptance with I don't know where this fear is taking me. I don't know if this is false evidence appearing real or my body kicking in with a mechanism that's saying, yo, yo, yo, you're in danger

Hi. I never had experiences quite like that, but I had a couple different things that were very strange where I had, like, people who appeared to me at night, and I had conversations with them, people who I knew were dead and gone and had long and actually very interesting and informative conversations, which sound weird, but it's true. And the other one is, you know, the sleep paralysis thing? I never had that until after I was well past the age of 40
