Well, the machine count had Green losing to Ryan Roth by a single vote, so a hand recount was triggered by the Thurston County Canvassing Board. The board announced that the hand recount came up with the same result certifying Roth as a winner. Roth said he very nearly didn't vote himself in the race, but his wife urged him to vote

Hello, Bob. Thanks for inviting me to this conversation. This is so funny. So he lost. Because I live in Washington State, to hear that, it makes me it's really funny that you lose the election. One vote, your own voice. That's crazy. Well, anyway, I think he learned his lesson. Maybe next time he will be the first to vote for himself. First before anything.
