The park has twelve alligators that state wildlife officials have determined cannot be returned to the wild because they have been fed by humans. General manager George Howard said by telephone that he was excited to see the phenomena over the weekend, saying that it had been a few years since the last time it had happened at the park. The cold blooded animals can't regulate their own temperatures, so when temperatures drop, they go into a state called brumation. They do this to survive
