The religious artifacts were either found with a deceased in their hands or on their torso, or they were placed in the coffin. Archaeologists also identified preserved wooden coffins, wooden crosses, and scraps of silk scapulars, which are kind of like a cloth necklace for devotional objects. Research at the site will continue as experts work to learn more about the building and conduct more in depth analysis of the bone remains at the site
