The Star of Bethlehem and the Magi

article image placeholderUploaded by @Urbanlegends
According to Mulnar, the three wise men were astrologers who were well versed in the motions of the sky and hence keen to see such powerful astrological signs and how they related to an actual event, in which case it would have been the birth of Jesus. Barthel and Vancouin organized the results of their conference into four questions what, when, why, and how?

This is fascinating. As someone who loves astrology, I love this idea of the star of Bethlehem being something I think you said Jupiter. Some planets colliding in the sky. That makes a lot of sense. And I am so curious to learn more. And that's really neat that there's a whole book about it and research and looking at all the different ways that it could connect astrology, astronomy. Thank you so much for sharing

The other thing, and this is a side note, it's not really related directly to the three astrologers wise men, magi or magicians, if you prefer, however you want to see them. And that is that the gifts they brought of gold, Frankincense and Mir were brought not specifically as just gifts, but as gifts of value
