They had always discussed the cannabis infused space cake brownies many times in the past, but had never really gotten around to actually making them, putting them together. So she decided to make one for them as her parting gift. On February 8, on her last day in the job, she greeted her colleagues and then left the workplace, but not before leaving behind the surprise space cake brownies. Those were for her colleagues, along with a note advising them to only eat it after working hours

Mr. Dennis. Thank you again. Oh, my God. This poor woman. I feel so bad. She's retiring. She worked for this place for a long time. It's legal where she resides. I agree that she should have left a note stating that, yes, there was cannabis in it and really not to eat any until after work. But I don't think it was ever her intention to hurt anybody at all. She just wanted to give them a fun farewell
