Old Lithium Batteries, what to do?

article image placeholderUploaded by @Urbanlegends
So perhaps for the time EVs becoming the predominant form of transport, there will be a good chance that their batteries will be gearing up for a second life. For urban legends and stranger truths, I'm Bob Dennis

And I think that's such a topic worth discussing, too, is people don't just throw your batteries in the trash, they'll leak into the watershed, and it'll create toxic leakage and waste anyways. Just not good. And I don't think enough people understand the impact and the complications of batteries. So understanding lithium and working towards an organic compound that can hold a satisfactory charge, I think would be revolutionary, most non negotiable. So thanks for reporting on this

Does not have the resources to recycle so many lithium batteries, especially with the projected growth of electrical vehicles that are being projected to be on the road. So, as of right now, china has the highest amount of recycling plants for EV batteries. Thankfully the US. Has decided to invest and build recycling factories on US. Soil. So there's a lot of money being poured into building these factories and making sure that we are equipped to handle the volume that is projected to happen. So the US
