The company added that they did not take their decision lightly and considered many factors before coming to the decision, including consumer preferences and purchasing patterns. According to CNN, fruit stripe gum has been around since the 1960s and came in five flavors known as wet and wild melon, cherry, lemon, orange and peach. The brand's mascot was yipes the zebra, and each pack came with a temporary tattoo of yipes

It's all I can say is good written. I hate that gum. I'm telling you right now, my mom still has a piece of that gum in her purse. I ain't even kidding. She probably still has a piece of that gum in her purse. I hated it as a child. I always wanted her to give me some big red or some spearmint, some juicy fruit, something. But that gum, horrible

I have to figure that out because I always say, hey, I got to take one of these bottles with me and I never remember to, but one of these shampoos actually smells like fruit striped gum. If I find it, I'm going to post it here. So it's here for the duration. But yeah, I'm not sad to see it go. It is a part of my childhood for sure
