While the careful preparation of some of the human remains, like a skull cap and an engraved bone, show that some thought was being put into their form of cannibalism. It's believed that rather than being an example of transcultural diffusion, the change in funerary behavior identified is an example of demic diffusion, where essentially one population comes in and replaces the other population. Interestingly, this mirrors how researchers believe that farming arrived in the UK

It's. Crazy story. Bob. I also have heard of many stories of ancient civilizations. I would say way longer than 15. But I guess having that quote unquote scientific proof is definitely a factor for discussion. But nonetheless, I think that there's been a lot of cannibalism for lots of reasons for a long, long time. But this is interesting to hear. It scientifically presented. So thank you for taking the time to report on this

It. Yeah. I find antisocial acts to be of interest, although sometimes that line isn't isn't very clear. We would definitely think of cannibalism in the modern sense as being antisocial. It in some ways it's in some ways it's more gruesome in a way than murder, I would say, because it's parasitic. Assuming someone's eating people because they're hungry, more or less. But yeah, cannibalism is not in the modern sense
