Who says that? And why?

Questions about the cost from people who worry about not having enough. And this is something I can relate to and understand. After my first hike, people kept telling me how brave and courageous I was. But that's not how I felt. That's not how I felt ever. Not before the hike. Not how I felt for most of the hike

And then you can ask yourself, am I more afraid than I am excited? Like, does the fear outweigh everything else that I'm going to get out of this experience, out of pursuing my dream? There's always something scary. There will always be a storm. There will always be uncomfortable situations. But is it better to not do anything because of that? Or to experience them and realize that a you could handle them and b they weren't as scary as they were in your mind?

Honestly, a lot of people are so scared to leave what society deems as normal or as you're supposed to conduct yourself or as how you're supposed to live versus how they want to live. And it's like night and day, it's like you're going through the motions. If you're going to what society wants you to live versus how you want to live. If you want to take that break, go ahead and take that break

@OYMotivation

Not that people are bad, just I had never really thought to myself how much I was told to be, who to be, how to be, how to act all the time. And maybe that's why I like hiking so much. But yeah, I get it. Anyway, thanks for your response
