Goa Diaries - Ep-1- An evening with a regimental officer
We escaped to the nearby Bogmalo beach for dinner. The night had already crept in, and the gentle sound of the waves sinked with the cacophony of the seagulls at a distance. The sand dunes underneath. The feet got cooler and comforting and the sea breeze brushed past the worries away as we continued reminiscing one moment after another. We were starting to explore Goa with our rental car that was scheduled to arrive the next day

Hi Rajat. Glad you caught up with your friend. Bogmalo, as I remember, was a very secluded beach at one time with only one five star property, the Oberoys, which used to be there. At that time there were hardly any shacks in Bogmalo beach. But today you telling me that there are shacks. I'm happy to know that. I think during my next visit to Goa, I'm going to visit that. And yes, the rental self drive cars are absolutely fun in Goa. Just first time I went across and from the amazing traffic of Delhi, NCR, I was amazed at the calmness of the traffic that was in Goa, especially in the southern Goa. I was driving and suddenly I realized there is two cars that are following me and it's in that area, betalbatam area

Good evening, Rajat. I hope you're having good time in Goa. The only thing which I look forward in Goa usually is serene beaches and walks, as I do not like crowded places much. And I think you have done both in this day in particular and especially with your a brother in Arm, as you guys say. So I think I have heard many stories about very long cherished friendships, about brothers in arms. And then you guys have your coursemates
But this story that you just put forward just shows the kind of trust you need to have on each other when you are enrolled in the army. And there's such a beautiful story. Hi, Rajat. Let me tell you one thing. As soon as I saw the title Goba Diaries, I was so much excited, because, let me tell you, I have been to Goa for the first time for a competition called the Inventor Challenge. So I feel it is really one of the greatest journey of my life, because I met lords and lots of people there, and some of them have become very close buddies to me right now. So, as you said, friendships

So yeah, well, about me when you asked about such friendships I found good people only when I stepped out of my home, when I went to law school and I met my best friend there. She is a very loving person, and my partner is a very loving person. But recently, I did come to befriend somebody. She is my batchmate in Ma Rural development. And she's an extremely colorful person, vibrant, with so much of experience in public relations under her belt
Also the route to Bogmalo is exhilarating and basically filled with a lot of marketplace, a huge marketplace and lot of shops and shops around. And while we reached the Bogmalo beach I went in the evening but I found it quite crowded with lot of activities going on possibly during the day. Bogmalo beach is the shack where I sat down for the dinner is located very close to the coastline. And yes you mentioned about Oberois

So what happens is when people are there for a short trip to Goa and if they don't have much time so what they do is they generally take a hop to Bogmalo Beach and walk into these shacks next to the coastline and grab a beer or two and enjoy the food. Food is lovely across entire GoAI, I should say. That the kind of cuisine they serve
So we may have left armed forces, but armed forces never leaves us. No matter wherever we go, no matter wherever we meet up, long after we have left the tribe, even we are ajay not wearing the uniform, we are still a part of the tribe. That anthem pug is a huge and an important step that we have taken together. And those stars are not given out of charity. Those stars are dug onto our shoulders. No one can take it away. Okay?
So when they come from a different family altogether, and they come into a second family where there's already a huge community waiting. They also have a different experience altogether, and that is what makes the organization a different organization and a beautiful organization to work.
