HIRE A TRAVEL AGENT? Why would I?

article image placeholderUploaded by @travelwithme
The other thing that's important is to always keep in mind that travel planning is our job. We do not do this as a hobby. We come into an office, we do have our time dedicated to everything around travel planning. So again, whether it's designing those itineraries that are going to be customed to you or customized to each traveler, or training with different vendors, with different suppliers, becoming true specialist on a segment, whether it's families or a specific region of the world

5 reasons you should work with a Travel Advisor #travel #traveltheworldwithme #italy #conversationoftheday #traveling #traveler #europe

Hey, this is pretty informative. I may be not alone in saying that I definitely thought that travel Agent I a thing of the past. I know that there's a lot of online websites that can help maximize your deals. I just don't see a lot travel Agent I like brick and mortars and I don't even see any advertised anywhere. Like, they used to be in Tab Lloyds and magazines and commercials. So that's my reasoning that I thought that they were kind of phasing out

So now you have people that want full vacations in Thailand or they want to make sure that their kids understand the galapagos. And now that travel has evolved, the travel advising and the travel industry has evolved as well. So that's where you see kind of the transition where we've become, again, consultants to travel and not just a transaction of buying a ticket or booking a hotel

Hey, loved this swell cast. I would love to connect with you. Find out more, please. Hit me up. I don't know how that part works, but this is the first time I'm asking a fellow swell cast member to connect. So let's do that, shall we? Thank you. And again, excellent upload. Hope to talk to you soon. Ciao

Hi. Thank you so much. I am very new to this myself, so I'm not sure that this is what I'm supposed to be doing. But I am replying, and I am following you. I know there's messages, and there's also a private option if you want to message me privately, but I think that now with this conversation started and again, I'm following you. We're pretty much connected on this. So thank you again for listening

And today my understanding is this would definitely serve people who are trying to travel to a foreign place for the first time because she is very diligent and planned everything out and made sure everything from every bottle to connecting plane, every bottle, every shuttle or bus pass that she needed to do to get around was purchased, pre purchased and paid in full

Oh, no. These are the type of messages that we never want to get as a travel adviser, but I want you to tell your partner not to feel bad. This is something that happens to the best of us. I've had traveler that have been traveling the world, and they still forget something as simple as a visa. So again, we never want this to happen, but we're not going to dwell on a swell. Let's just think about the positive outcome

Like, I remember my parents used to use them, and yeah, I just, like, never hear about them anymore. But it makes sense for sure. I feel like with the Internet these days, you can find anything you want to find anywhere, but you have to be diligent. And obviously, I wasn't diligent enough. My friend lives there and was like, you're fine bees upon arrival. No big deal

And I'm sure you've put a lot more effort and a lot more time and a lot more dedication and a lot more experience to being where you're at right now. So I think that we can all do a lot of things, but we just need to make sure that we understand the difference between knowledgeable and then working with an expert. So that's kind of how I see it when it comes to travel advisors. So I wish you the best of luck

So I'm like, yeah, maybe there's some connection that could happen where I give you kickback on people that you send my way that might be interested. I don't know, only if that's something you'd be interested in. But it is kind of wild. But she just told me that the other day and then I'm like, I haven't heard travel agent I since I was like ten, and now all of a sudden they're coming up into my field all the time

@MarleyMusarra

Marley. Of course. I'm always happy to collaborate, and anything that I can be of help, even if you need certain guidance on anything that's travel related and services, I'm always happy to help. Like I said, I've been practicing yoga for the past nine months myself, and it's it's been a great experience. And the city that I go to, I see that they host retreats as well, and I see it all within my community

H***, yeah. And I definitely use Instagram more than I use as swell, so if you ever want to get in touch, feel free to reach out there. And yeah, I arrived to Thailand yesterday, my first full day here today, and definitely still trying to get rest and recovery, so I can fully enjoy it, but it's been beautiful so far. Sweet. Well, I will reach out about some collabs when it feels right. Thank you
