Scary Big Bear Print

article image placeholderUploaded by @TotalCatskills
Finding animal tracks in the snow in the winter is often one of the best parts of winter hiking. But this bear print was such a great find. This was on Sugarloaf Mountain in the casket's in New York. It was in February, and this is actually the very beginning of a hike. So I saw this almost immediately and that knew that I'd be coming back the same way later, a few hours later

Seeing animal tracks in the #snow is one of the best parts of #winter #hiking. This bear print was exceptional. Check out https://mountain-hiking.com

But either way, it made a great story, and I'm happy that I learned a little bit about how to track a bear or any other animal in the snow. So thanks for dropping some value and also some entertainment. I appreciate it, and hope you have a great day

Hey, Ty, thanks so much. Yeah, I definitely did think about turning around right then, but it was right at the beginning of the hike, so I could have but, you know, we only have black bears over here, so they're pretty timid. And I've been hiking for years in the Caskills, and I've only had one bear interaction. It was like 5 seconds long. And all you ever see is them running away
