How do relationships work

article image placeholderUploaded by @TobeHeard5
And I don't know if this is a single experience of mine, because I do see many of my friends surrounded by family, surrounded by friends. I could be part of that particular section of the universe where everybody is segregated. Maybe I just have to find that comfort zone or I don't know what to say. I think I need to find that set of people whom I can spend more time with or who care about each other. Is it a scarcity to find such people?

This is a general analysis of how relationships of any kind work

I do I haven't found many people who I connect with on that level because most of the time the people that I meet are either prioritizing their own lives, prioritizing work, or it could be family. Life just gets very hectic. And I think we forget the most important things, which is the people around us, the community we live in, and to spend meaningful time in that community, a meaningful time with people

My 2 cents

But to be fair, not just Gen Z, even the rest of us who've been forced to spending more time behind our screens due to the pandemic, often unable to meet in person to such an extent that it's almost become a norm. Now, to justify just shooting off a quick email or a text message and sparing yourself the discomfort of a more personalized conversation. And in doing so, we often miss out on the positive impact of real conversations versus just texting or emailing someone

So I think that is probably a little rare maybe these days in the sense that you would only probably just have like two or three people like that who you can talk to. But yes, I understand when you say that it's difficult to have long conversations these days. People are just trying to rush and do their own thing and things like that

@Ramya

Ah. Hi Ramya. That was a very thoughtful and very beautiful way how you responded to my post. It's nice to try and understand what happens in that side of the world, what happens in someone else's life and what is their point of view. Very nice. And hopefully we should we all should keep keep encouraging each other, keep understanding each other's opinions. Most of you have such a wonderful way of expressing your thoughts and opinions. I have to learn that

I'm sure we'll all kind of make a good circle. You never know, we might turn out to be very good friends. So I'm very glad to have met you. So I'm also making it a point to follow whoever is leaving a comment, so I understand they belong to the same line of thought. So very nice to meet you. And yes, we will definitely keep in touch
