Like, she's getting away from someone who hurt her and now loving herself, which to me makes a lot more sense. And it's one that I could empathize with. I could actually maybe stand in the shoes of someone who's been hurt and now taking care of themselves and standing up straight. So I don't know. I mean, I'm not saying she needs to go in really deep

I found myself singing it all the time, many occasions, just sometimes in my mind, when a guy says the wrong thing and I'm not even dating or anything, but this is like a life anthem for women about all the guys that did them wrong, or did not deserve them, or did not embrace who they were and did not see them.
