Feel your feels

article image placeholderUploaded by @Tifftalks
I'm going to get up and I'm going to do this and I'm going to do that, and nobody is going to ruin my day. And then I was like, well, wait a minute. I should be allowed to feel my feels. If I feels some type of way about something, that's okay. If I want to go to bed early, that's okay too. If I want to lay on the sofa and cry, that is okay

Tiffany, you have every right to feel your feels. But it is sad to know that society tells us not to feel our feels. It is considered strong to keep them in. It is considered weak to express it. When we admonish people for being emotional, we are using this word in the wrong context, because one who is emotional is who is experiencing emotion and a high frequency. So people who are happy and smiling are just as emotional as people who are sad and distraught and angry

And I said, well, you're not. She was like, but by marriage. So your father is now deceased, on and so forth. And I was like, well, I'm a cousin, right? And so I reached out to him directly, he was like, we're only inviting first cousins because it's so expensive. And I was like, but I'm a first. And he was like, no, but you're my second cousin

Feels for yourself

When you are going through a lot, it can put you in a state of mind where you don't want to be bothered with anybody. You don't want to be bothered with work, you don't want to sometimes be bothered with family, friends. So it really can be a lot. And sometimes you have to find that energy. And I mean what I say by far

Well, you kind of cut it off when you say, I feel a certain way. Let me go ahead and stop thinking about that. To me, that is what makes it what I want to say, response to a masculine thing, because most men will kind of cut that off, like, okay, I've had enough. Let's come up with a solution for some of this stuff

It's going to stay there and it's going to keep dragging you down and f****** up your energy. So who wants that? Yeah, I just like to move the emotions. So whether that means crying. Whether that means journaling. Whether that means verbally processing to someone. Whether that means going to dance or shake or do a yoga class. Or going to run or walk or get tied to nature

Me and you were in the same boat. I come to like where all my feelings are bottled in, and I love that I listen to this this morning. You're beautiful. Have a great day. And you know what? From this day on, whatever I want to do, I'm going to do. Have a good day

@LAF.Consulting

Like, as a guy, I could get married and get divorced and lose everything. And the fact is, with this world, like you say, being so fast paced, that helps me keep up to speed with getting over it, you know what I mean? Like, they have healthy alternatives, like working. I could start a career, you know what I mean? I could improve who I was before being with whatever person

So when I say it is so important to feel what you feel and speak what you feel and talk it out and get it, shake it off. And if you're not in the mood, just don't do what you had scheduled. Cancel it and do whatever is best for you. Like, I'm an advocate for all that. So I love this topic and I'm listening to all the feedback
