Be quiet and considerate when they are sleeping, ask their opinion and or advice about things. When sitting or walking near them, hold their hand. Put your arm around them. Cuddle or caress them. Offer to help them if you see they are struggling with something. Bring them a flower once a week. It doesn't even have to be bought flowers. You can just pick one from a garden.
