Explosive behaviors, irritability, judgment, violent. Sometimes they want fairness. They can be overbearing, they may self harm. They use punishing tactics, they go into lawyer mode, they may do silent treatments. And they tend to not trust others. Where does this come from? Usually from childhood. They had to protect themselves and their siblings. They maybe had to protect a parent or other family members. They basically felt they needed to be the protector and stand up and play that role

You note that everyone will lean more towards one or the other does not mean that you will always be in one of the distress responses. You could bounce back and forth between, let's say, fight and freeze or fawn and flight, depending on who you're dealing with, how safe or unsafe you feel with that person and who it is
