What They Didn't Tell Us About Dr. Martin Luther King & His Love Betty Moitz

article image placeholderUploaded by @ThoughtProvoker
But, yeah, the things that they leave out, you can just imagine if they left this out. This is a huge piece of his life. How did they keep this under wraps? And what do you think it would have done if it would have came out? Do you think it would have like, because people already knew, but if it would have hit the waves, I don't know. Do you think it would have gone very well?

And then, of course, in those days and times, him having a white wife, he probably wouldn't have had the support of a lot of white people either, because even good christian white folks still wasn't down for integration or interracial marriage. So very interesting, and it was an interesting read, and I thank you for sharing

But yeah, that Rosa Parks was after her and they also said a few other things about that whole situation. Right. I don't know. I like to because with this whole Betty Moyce thing with Dr. King, they kind of try to slander a little bit there when it started coming out saying that he slept with multiple white women and he was this and he was that and that he cheated on Coretta. And it was like, girl, he didn't even know Coretta. He was in school

King, I mean, all due respect, all due respect, but the way he's almost worshiped, it's scary. Like, he was just a man, y'all. We shouldn't be surprised about anything that might come out. I mean, he was in love with a white woman, okay? It'd be what it be if he even cheated on his wife. He didn't cheat on me. It is what it is, right? He's a person, was a person

It is some deep stuff, people. And let me tell you, when you see this, if you didn't know, you're going to know. And you probably should not let it not sink in. Let it sink in because the way things are sold to us and we shouldn't be surprised. We should not be surprised that when it comes to our chicken tone, people that we could know and good to throw them one another under the bus

The Black Image, Public Relations and Mythology

This is an interesting topic, because I had heard rumblings about this before. I had known about the infidelity that he had behind Coretta's back, and I knew about his involvement with white women, but I didn't know about this particular young woman. But I'm not shocked about it. Number one, first and foremost, Dr. King was human. He's capable of wrongdoing just like any body else

Hey, there. Hey, there. Yeah. For me, it's not about him messing with white women. I didn't even know he messed with white women. I didn't hear that. Like, I did, like, a little. Like a little rumor ish, kind of like someone threw it out there, but they never heard a voice, never seen a face. Betty, she spoke. She had an interview
