When was the last time you experienced joy

We rarely enjoy our activities with the reckless abandonment as we did as children. Perhaps the closest thing that we come to to joy in our current lives when we gaze at our newly born baby or the look at the glowing face of your child on their wedding day. So what I want for you to do is get a journal. I want you to write down five of your top childhood memories, the ones that gave you that great feeling of joy, that excitement

And it's like, well, life can be complicated now, but you can add these little moments of simple joy, simple pleasure, and it can make such a difference. I also really like that you're highlighting that we can do this with other people. Bring your friends, your family into this. I feel like it's also, like, a nice way of them getting to know you and that part of you that maybe you'd forgotten, but that's important
