So there's a lot of things that I love or like, but I really was more interested in majoring in english literature. And it's not that he was discouraging me from that, but he told me something back then that made sense. And I did an article about this that goes a little bit more in depth. He said, well, you can do computers. Who said that? You can't write on the side or do writing as a minor or whatever

They said, take something that you really like because you'll pay close attention to it, you'll be well educated in it, and you can make do with it in one way or another, because everything seems to tie into everything. Now, I'm saying degrees like art or music or philosophy or anthropology, I mean, those are career specific degrees, a broad curriculum that's based on just that one genre

Also, even though tech is a stem field, with AI replacing a lot of humans in the tech industry, we're seeing a massive number of layoffs in the tech industry, which is supposed to be hot right now, but artificial intelligence is starting to take a lot of tech jobs. People are using bots now to do the work of humans. They no longer could rely on humans to do these things

But you know what? I'm going to get through it. I'm going to be stronger because of it. So again, Tanya, thank you so much for the reply. Love it as always. Have a blessed day. Take care and I'll talk to you soon. Bye

But she was crying on video and saying how she can't find a job, nobody would hire her and so forth. And as a result, she got a lot of job offers. So strategically, that was well played out, I guess. But it is reflective, I think, of this generation because I get a lot of my students who have this impression that, hey, I get my degree. I'm supposed to get a job

But I really like your point about the Starbucks story and starting at the bottom, because that's what actually I did in education. Funnily enough, I started out in the public school system as an educational assistant, special education educational assistant, and I liked it. I loved it. It hooked me in, but couldn't make a total living at it

Good morning. I haven't been on soil for a while, but I saw this prompt, and I believe that Gen Z will be more unemployed than our previous gens because we're in an age of. Of social media. So I feel that people are expecting to work less hard but get successful through less work. Right. More so of making it big or rich by being on social media. With that being said as well, AI and these robots are replacing humans at an alarming rate

And you brought up some great points regarding the power of social media and how those who partake in it are more likely to be looking for less work. When you said that, I felt that you nailed it on the head, because social media is so accessible and easy to create. The idea that it would be easier to become employed in social media was very enticing
