Parents, don’t be intimidated.

Now, what makes me sad is I don't think parents realize that they are a crucial part of this team, along with all of the teachers and educators and people that are there to help their child. Especially in the last two weeks, I've seen a lot of parents that basically to me in private will talk to me and say, oh, my gosh, Leanne, I'm not quite sure about this. I don't feel comfortable about this

Hey. Yeah. I think it's super important sometimes to say it straightforwardly, almost like, encourage the parents to be open and to say how they feel. I don't have first hand experience with it, but my cousin was in the hospital for a while because she had a premature baby, and that was something that the doctor told her. Always, like, we're professionals and we know what we're doing, but you are the mother

Thanks for your response. Really appreciate it. Yes, the term Iep, it's an educational term. I'm a teacher, so we have, like, our own lingo. It's crazy. Iep is just the educational team for kids in special education, and it stands for Individualized Education Plan or Individualized Education Program. But again, thanks for your response. Really appreciate it. Have a good day. Bye
