Staying Motivated. What helps you?
I do work in the school system, so not very many of my kiddos have guide dogs, but if they needed them, yes, I would help them get one and assist them in that matter as well, whether it be technology, whatever it might be, to assist my visually impaired students in terms of life skills. And again, traveling safely, which has been a lot of our lessons lately. So when I conduct these lessons, I wear a hat. I am very, very fair skinned
Hello, Miss Leanne. I was actually just talking to Deborah about this topic she posted on the Hope channel. Pretty interesting. I literally just responded to it like two swells ago. So I'm going to go back there and I'm going to invite you to that swell. I feel like some of this could be useful to contribute to that conversation, because this does seem to be a pretty prevalent challenge that many people are facing in their own ways, of course
Thank you. I definitely will. I love Deborah. She's awesome. So yeah, I will definitely check out her post as well and we'll definitely contribute to that conversation. And thank you for answering the mind. Yeah, I posted it and I didn't realize she had posted along the same lines. Kind of funny. Great minds, right? But yeah, I will definitely check it out. Thank you. I really appreciate it. Hope all is well. Bye

He was talking about it's not about how hard you get hit, it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. That's been a big thing for me is just remembering that and just challenges and just pushing myself to be like get up. One way I've been doing that lately is, like you said, the working out. I recently joined Planet Fitness and making that as a time for myself again. Final movie reference goonies. Their time is out there
But, yeah, I definitely agree with you, and I like it. And I like your idea of talking to yourself like you're your best friend. I think that's really key. So thank you and keep up the fabulous work. Bye

So, obviously, I'm not perfect. I have those moments where you slip, and it just gets to you. But the motto that I keep saying to myself in situations like that is, I'm not drinking the poison. So kudos to you for definitely number one, recognizing that in your environment, that's the first step. And then just to keep working on this myself, just finding ways to remind ourselves, don't drink their poison. Take care, hon. Bye
