Adoption-positive or negative experience?

article image placeholderUploaded by @TheMs.Leanne
So anyway, these are just a few of the ways that being adopted has affected me, and I would love to hear from you all if you think adoption is a positive experience, a negative experience, what are your exact experiences with adoption? Is it something you'd recommend or not? By either way, I really look forward to our wonderful conversations. Thank you again for taking the time to listen to me. Thank you. Thank you for being you and the wonderful people that you are

@TheMs.Leanne Truly enjoyed this one Leanne and really connected with so much of what you had to say.

Hey Leanne, just listened to your latest swell and I have to say this one I really connected with because as you know, I was also adopted myself at, you know, five years old. And it also really amazes me how similar your story is to mine

@TheMs.Leanne To answer your question, yes I feel adoption is a good thing and blessing

For myself, I will say that even if my family might have our bumpy spots and sometimes our struggles, I have felt that my life has benefited from being adopted and where I'm at. And I'm sure that you have felt the same way again. It isn't always easy, but it has so many great rewards to it. Thanks again for doing this one

I'm just saying, basically, my birth mother just gave me to a woman that she knew that I think lived near her, and that woman had lost some children in childbirth and wanted to replace them with a child. And so I was given to her. My mother was young. I was not her first, but her second child out of wedlock. And in 1950, that was really a negative thing

Yeah. Hey, Nick. As always, thanks for your candor. Yeah, it can be a good thing. It can be viewed as a negative thing as well. I guess it depends on who you ask. That's why I was interested to get different people's viewpoints. I definitely appreciate your candor. And, yes, in some ways we do have some similarities. Totally agree

And to break that cycle, I mean, my God, I really commend you. That's amazing. So thank you. I'm really glad. You're part of my swell cast, and you're part of my community. Your kids are extremely lucky to have a father like you. And I wish you you all the best. Thank you again. Bye

@TheMs.Leanne Absolutely it all depends on who you ask. And you are most certainly welcome.

You. Hey, Leanne. Just wanted to say that, yes, it does certainly depend on who you ask. Some people might say it's good, some people might say it's not. I, like you, would have to agree that, yes, it is certainly good. As I've said, you know, it is something that has certainly blessed my life. I would have to say it
