Back to school: Your morning prep list. Do you have one?

article image placeholderUploaded by @TheMs.Leanne
And one thing that kept coming up a lot was preparation and how key that is on many levels. And I was starting to think about this not only in terms of, let's say, preparing a special needs child for a doctor's appointment or anything that's not in their usual schedule, but I also started thinking about it because we're basically at the point where it's back to school time, right? And a lot of our kiddos have gotten used to their summer vacation

As far as additional tips, I don't really have any of my own. We don't really have a specific morning routine, but maybe this is something good to start, just so it creates consistency. I did love that you said, make sure that you keep your keys in the same spot every day. I will tell you, my keys are always in the same spot so that they're easy to locate

Above and beyond, yes, the rest of them are important, but that one is key. So I'm glad you're part of my community. And thank you for always for your two cent. Always appreciate it. And I hope everything is well with you. Bye

@TheMs.Leanne Really great tips Leanne. Thanks for sharing. Made me reminince about my early school days.

But the key for that is just, I guess just to be patient and understanding, which again, sometimes in those situations isn't hard to do or isn't easy to do, but it is worth it. So anyway, thanks so much for sharing this. Well, really got me again, as I said, reminiscing actually feels pretty good to do. And something I would add is, especially when you're dealing with younger students and younger kids, is just to have patience
