Where Judgment Becomes Grace

article image placeholderUploaded by @theheartdrive
The shell that resists change you live in the feeling of the circles your fingers would draw on my back after size splayed us wide with laughter locked in a molotov the way you move in me where flames meet air and sucked in gasps shiver between the burning grip of wanting fingers. We curl around the entwined roots with tender shoots that spiral tendrils of fertile hope that might one day bloom on the mast of the scales that balanced rage and horror on one. Unending moment of sacred peace

Feral longing read out loud. Wow. You do have a beautiful and unique way with your words. It's something that I've never even, like, tried to tap into, let alone seen what I am capable of. But nonetheless, you make it inspiring to just get really creative and really out there. And, yeah, I just would love to know what your creation process is like, because it seems very untamed and, like, raw. Yet your words are very sharp

@MarleyMusarra some thoughts on process… just my 2 cents FWIW

It'll always come back to you in some incarnation of new phrasing. So at some point it feels mature enough, right? That the sticky feeling with a little bit of words just floating in there. And then at some point there's like a real conscious decision of, okay, can I open to this? And then when I open to it, it's just like letting the words flow. I'm not composing anything. I'm just letting the words kind of tell me

Wow. That's really beautiful and fun to listen to your process. I love how you're able to just get creative with it and step into that slow state of like, you're not even thinking or using your prefrontal cortex. Suffers literally just pouring out of you. Inspired coming from spirit or whatever you believe in. But yeah, really sounds to be inspired. Work. Work so good for you. I love it

It's an interesting concept and one that I often play with because I take my craft incredibly seriously and not at all at the same time, and have found that there's a lot of artifice that falls away when you let go of this idea of a standard. If you are holding a certain kind of outcome in mind or a certain kind of audience profile in your mind when you are writing something, obviously it's going to distort its output
