Just to continue a little bit on the analysis of this poem. Like all hermetic poets in general, quasimodo aims at the theme that revolves around the remaking of man. So the objective of hermetic poetry is in fact to immerse oneself in life and contribute to life. And so the figures adopted in poetry are often those of contrast or essential condensation. And among the stylistic solutions adopted in his figures of speech, quasimodo uses abstract images in a refined rhetoric that loves the effects of light
