It's an often subconscious comprehensive description of your understanding of reality, the picture of grand reality in the context of human sanity. It provides all of the answers for life. The more answers acquired from a worldview, the more meaningful life is. So not only does this dependence on shallow ideas that shape our presuppositions result in limited meaning, but what meaning can be found can be shattered by just the right question or revelation. This reality is becoming more evident as time goes on

But what I will say is that the social media culture we live in now, as you have stated, where people react to captions and headlines and don't want to read the body of context, a content, I think it's weeding out the nice people. It's leading them to slaughter. I think it was just speeding up the process. I think it was always there. Every generation was the next generation. I don't think this generation in particular is the nicest of them all
