Division champions and over under totals in the NFL are some of my favorite bets to make. Because it's a league where you can actually see if you're paying attention and you've applied history to this, you can actually see whether a team is in its ascendancy or its decline. And you can really start to see whether a team should have a good year or bad year this year. And a lot of that is by just watching how a team finishes the year before

Jalen Hurts is that dude, he should have been the MVP, but needless to say, he out for blood this year. Blood for this year. I don't have any stock on the Cowboys. Is it going to cowboy it up as normal? The defense looks good. You got Michael Parsons back there, but it's all about that quarterback. If Dak succeeds. Cool. But Mike McCarthy is calling the plays now, so I really don't see them as a threat

I mean, you really kind of think on paper that's a loss and Minnesota playing Tampa Bay with Baker Mayfield at quarterback at home opening day, really you kind of count on that as a win too. So not only is it one and O versus Owen one, but these are games that on paper probably should have been the opposite

Yes. Thanks, Phil. It was a really great week for the futures bet. Week one first saw the Detroit Lions look good. I think Kansas City Chiefs lost that game more than the Detroit Lions won that game. But it's just a huge win for the Detroit Lions moving forward. They're going to take on the Seattle Seahawks in Detroit in week two. They might be favored in that game because Seattle gave up a lot of yardage to Puka Nakua

And unfortunately, you have a couple of teams in Seattle and Dallas Clipping at their heels at three and one. And we both knew, I think everybody knew that those would be the two teams that really challenged both Philadelphia and San Francisco, but Dallas kind of got away with playing New England Patriots. They did lose number seven
