Never waste a good crisis
It may be counterintuitive. Yet I agree with Les Brown and the definition of crisis being danger but also being opportunity. Period. And if there's one thing that can affirm in my maturity the crises in my lives, the down periods in my lives, the adversity in my life when I had to look into the abyss and nothing stared back is the time when I learned the most about myself and who's who and what's what. Period. I didn't see it at the time

The ending statement you said reminds me of something I've heard similar from Joseph Campbell. So I'm curious, who is that that you pulled that closing statement from?
