I'm pretty sure some people might have been aware, but that particular region, Brunei, Malaysia, Indonesia, is one of the most densely populated muslim areas in the world. This is outside of, or this includes the Middle east, where everybody is pretty much aware that everybody there is in their islamic majority. So I'm in complete and utter shock. Like, I'm looking at people who fit the description of someone from Southeast Asia, but they're dressed like they live in the Middle east
