Constantly trying your hardest and it not being good enough is very draining. You see the effort being made, but other people expect more and more from you. They put expectations above you and want you to go past them, not knowing every little drop of hope, happiness and energy is being drained out out of you to show them that you are good enough. And if you say you're trying your best, they say, well, try harder. Even though those words eat you up inside

So others telling me I'm not good enough and more so, like myself and my inner voice and yeah, this mental battle of being like oh, well, I could have done better and I couldn't prove here and this didn't go like I thought it would or should and all of that. And yeah, the good enough story has definitely been coming up a lot this last week
