One of my favorite films that came out, moonlight, which I think is probably one of the most important pieces of black cinema to come out in the past 50 years, has a very complicated history, because when it is brought up, when it is conveyed, it is automatically written off as a piece of agenda, due to the fact that it is an alternate perspective of what is presumed to be the black american male. And why is that?
